Misfit and Fraidoon Warasta teamed up to establish a collection called “Meadow Carpet”. Frai is a natural-born artist based in Amsterdam. He reaffirms reality in his work and states that humanity needs art and creativity to be more in touch with the heart. What is the meaning behind the featured art piece?

“Meadow Carpet is derived from the carpet of harmonious colours that can be seen on the painting. They represent the entirety of nature. Through the painting, I want to show my identity. I’m here, I stand for something, I have a meaning. In my thinking, doing and speaking, I’m relatively free. I’d like to share this freedom with the world.”

The T-shirt is made from 100% organic cotton and weighs 290 grams. It was enriched in Portugal with detailed embroidery of the tree and biodegradable screen print. Our collaboration is encapsulated in the thread with which our signatures are woven in. Meadow Carpet contributes to closing the gap between art and apparel.

What is the thought behind pre-ordering?

In order to preserve the true value of the art-piece, the collection Meadow Carpet will be limited available. Also, by working with pre-orders we can get an accurate count of the demand for our products, which allows us to minimize waste by producing only what is needed

How can I track my order?

You can track your order in several ways: first, in the order confirmation email you get the option to check the status of your pre-order at any time. You can also opt-in, at the time of purchase, that you want to be kept informed via WhatsApp. 

How do I know if my item is authentic?

Each order comes with a handwritten certificate of authenticity. The certificate will include your name and the item’s production number. The certificate is sealed with a signature of Fraidoon Warasta and a stamp of Misfit. The clothing will include a QR code linked to a web page, with exclusive information, dedicated to the item.
