Misfit and Fraidoon Warasta teamed up to establish a collection called “Meadow Carpet”. Frai is an artist based in Amsterdam. He reaffirms reality in his work and states that humanity needs art and creativity to be more in touch with the heart.
By closing the gap between art and apparel, we can create more innovative and unique fashion designs,
and bring a new level of creativity and inspiration to the world of clothing.
What is the meaning of Meadow Carpet?
“Meadow Carpet is derived from the carpet of harmonious colours that can be seen on the painting. They represent the entirety of nature.
Through the painting, I want to show my identity. I’m here, I stand for something, I have a meaning. In my thinking, doing and speaking,
I’m relatively free. I’d like to share this freedom with the world.”
